Speedy is my go-to mare for anything. Aside from being conformationally almost perfect, she is the hardest working, most honest, and loyal horse I have ever met. I’d swear this mare can talk, if not with her voice, then with her eyes. She’ll take 18+ mile days in the divide and still act ready to go when you are done for the day. She is 100% confident that she is the only horse I need and if I leave her home, she runs the fence and gets totally miffed. I use her for everything from ranch work to ranch rodeos and rodeoing. I have run her in barrels for 3 years and have won one year-end saddle and knocked only one barrel in that time. In 2021 I started her in breakaway and my goal is to rope well enough to use her to her full potential! Her feet wear so straight, they hardly need to be trimmed, even for competing.
