Words can’t describe how excited I am for this young stallion! With a beautiful red roan color, bloodlines from Dash Ta Fame, Frenchmans Guy, Positively A Coyote, and a Streak of Fling all up front, a kind eye, and a willing attitude, I’m sure you can understand why!
From all areas of the rodeo arena, to everyday ranch work, there is talent written all over him! I was around and worked with Can Man Fling since he was a baby. I fell absolutely in love with his sweet, but sassy personality, willingness to learn, athletic ability, and I would be lying if I didn’t say-his color!  I started him under saddle April of 2020 and was the most willing, sweetest, and talented colt to work with! He absolutely LOVES working cattle. I have taken him team sorting many times and he really gets down to watch a cow. He’s very natural tracking a calf out of the box. He’s my go-to guy to move and work cattle on the ranch and easily covers county. He spent winter of 2021/22 in Arizona with me and covered lots of miles on desert mountain trails as well as spending time working on reining in the arena. For a stallion, he has been so easy to haul and ride with mares. I ponied him off of my mare until spring of 2022. I would hop on him bareback & in a halter from his mare band and use him to bring in heifers during AI season. I really can’t say enough about his willing and easy-going personality and the talent he has in so many disciplines. Camo spent the winter in calf horse training with Haven Meged and the spring being patterned on barrels with Jackson Montogomery. He’s currently home on the ranch and on the road to barrel and breakaway futurities.
His first foal crop hit the ground in 2022, and WOW what potential these colts have! This year was his second foal crop and they are stunners! You can’t go wrong with one of them in your pasture.Check out his foals that are available for sale here: https://mahlstedtranch.com/sections/horses-for-sale/2022-foals-for-sale/
