Some of our most popular foals were out of Circle Oak Bar in the 1970s. We went looking for mares to add to our program who went back to him and Butterbutt is one of those mares. She is a half sister to Coppers Shady. Butterbutt is a sweet dispositioned mare who passes it on to every foal. One look at the pictures below and you can see that her foals all have incredible, beautiful style. Butterbutt is 14.3 hands and her foals tend to be under 15 hands although those sired by Colonel may get taller than that. Klancy’s Buck is one of her first colts. He was effortless to start under saddle and is a go-to ranch horse. MRI Buttercream is her daughter who will have her first foal in 2022.
