On our ranch, we work with cattle. It’s not a matter of dressing in boots, jeans, and hat and calling ourselves a cowgirl. It’s not riding a horse in a rodeo (although we do that too). It’s working with the cattle as a livelihood. We enjoy our work (most of the time) and we’d like to share cowgirl skills with you.
Would you like to learn more of the art of sorting and working with cattle? We will start you with learning ‘the dance’ as Tana calls it on foot in the corral with the cattle. You will get to practice it yourself. You will become a more capable cattle woman.
Connect with other women. We say the males on this ranch have to be really special because we are operated by more women than men, we ride mares and our stallions, our dogs are females…..you get the picture! We’d love to have you join us for a look at life out here.
Twirl a rope, practice with a camera, learn from us as we work with cattle & horses, start young horses, and more as women enjoying each other. Experience a mare herd running up to you in the middle of a big pasture. We’ll answer your questions about raising horses and cattle in the rugged environment of eastern Montana.
