We had been looking for a son of A Vintage Smoke to add to our program for some time but had not found one that met our standards until Vince came across our radar. No, we were not planning to purchase a dunskin stallion. Color is not the primary focus of our program though. The balance, correctness, and movement of this colt caught my eye, and within hours we had purchased him from a fellow AQHA breeder. Our mare herd has cow, speed, and handling and we are excited to add this reining pedigree to our recipe. Vince is the perfect size and he is doing well in riding plus training for collection. Our first foals arrived spring of 2025. Smart, sweet colts with shape and power. Blue roan, dun roan, and brown and the prettiest heads and eyes.

LHR DUN VINTAGESMOKE is a son of A VINTAGE SMOKE (LTE: $600,650), winner of Triple Crown Champion. A VINTAGE SMOKE booked full 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023. His first offspring were born in 2021.

LHR DUN VINTAGESMOKE is out of the mare HOLLYWOODSGOLDENUGET daughter of Champion HOLLYWOODTINSELTOWN (LTE: $185,856) and a NRHA $2.5 Million Dollar Sire and a maternal granddaughter of Be Aech Enterprise (NRHA Hall of Fame horse who lived to the age of 31). Vince’s maternal siblings include Gunna PullTheTrigger (2016 Palomino stallion, 2019 APHA Reserve World Champion) and The Nite Is Golden (VRH Amateur).

Alexis rides Vince and they truly love each other. Breakaway roping is what Alexis loves to do and she and Vince are working toward competition goals.
