The hard part about being in the horse business is letting go of good horses like one. A GOOD HOME is a must for T Swift! She has so much to offer someone that I feel it is time to switch gears and let her be somebody’s next heart horse while I focus on other priorities. Swifty is a neat little mare who Tienna started riding fall of 2022 after she had a couple of foals for us. I’d describe her as a perfectionist, gritty, talented, happy, enjoys life and adventure and an overall super sweet mare. Just look at those big doe eyes of hers! She is such a fun size and can easily go all day and still have more to give. She LOVES, LOVES to be a barrel horse. She has an awesome pattern down and has been pretty well seasoned. Currently I’d call her a 2d/3d horse with just a touch more seasoning to do. She’ll never go by a barrel and turn every time. She’s been hauled extensively and nothing bothers her. Tienna had her in her Arizona string winters 2023/24, 2024/25, & 2025/26 and boy did they do a ton of riding. She has probably seen more rough country in her years of riding than most people see in their lifetime. From ranching on the eastern Montana badlands to riding the Superstition Wilderness in Arizona and more, she is super capable and handy. Tienna used her as a guide horse on the weekends in Arizona for 2 seasons and she is a super solid ride as a guide horse. Swifty is fast and quick – I’m pretty sure she was born to be a barrel horse! So natural on the pattern! Run barrels on her for several more years, then make her your broodmare and trail ride in between. She is extremely valuable to me just as a broodmare, let alone how broke she is and take her and enter in a barrel race tomorrow.
