As I write this, we are thanking God for a beautiful gentle warm rain that started last night. Our spring has been so dry that cattle walked over the fence on a dirt drift last week. The good thing about dry is it has made for a successful calving season. Branding is scheduled for Saturday, May 25th. We even have a vacation package for one family/group to come be part of the branding weekend! We are foaling! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We started earlier than ever and all has gone well. Our last set of MRI Snip’s Spirit foals is all on the ground and they are truly amazing. This is also our last set from Sugar Irish Oak and I love the ones we have so far. I’m trying to keep the website current with the new foals, but I am behind already. We will again do the Pasture Pick Pricing birth to August 1st. Details are on the website. Then foals will be individually priced over halter breaking weekend. Our horse highlight this quarter is MRI ColonelSparkLena. 2021 blue roan stallion. Gorgeous son of Sanrose Blue Colonel who is riding great. He is standing to the public until sold.
