Hello and Happy Memorial Day….just a day late! We are so grateful to those who serve and to their families who serve in a different, but sacrificial way as well. Our freedom to vote and live freely is thanks to you and the God we serve! As a thank you, we are offering a 10% discount on MRI horse purchases made through June 2nd…. just tell us what branch of the armed forces and years of service.
Happenings here & there
It has been a strange spring here with weird weather. It is now extremely dry and even windier than normal. The struggle with water issues and springs and wells drying up has become the primary stressor around here.

Calving went well and we will be branding on Saturday. I am baking pies this week 🙂 If you haven’t been to our branding, you don’t know about all of the pies we offer our crew. You don’t know what you are missing! We branded the dairy calves a couple days ago giving a couple of our 4-year-old ride horses a chance in the branding pen.

Foaling has been steady and our offering is absolutely amazing! We are again offering foals from birth – July via our Pasture Pick Pricing. Here is a link to full information. Mark your calendars for our Open House which will be on Sunday, August 30th at the ranch. That is when you can snag the best deals on the babies, plus see all of the horses in the corrals at the same time!

Due to the severe drought, we are currently offering a very nice selection of mares. They can sell as 3-in-1 options or without the foal at side. This is an amazing opportunity for you….and a very sad time for me.

Speaking of sad – Coppers Butterbutt gave birth to a gorgeous buckskin filly on May 13th and then died of what we believe to have been a heart attack. Alexis has become her mama. And ‘Granny’ is her nurse mare.

In the News:
We had our first Poker Ride on May 3rd and everyone really enjoyed it. Thank you the Circle B Horsemanship for donating the grand prize. Yes, we are planning more rides!

We will have an Agritourism Information Day on June 3rd and invite everyone to come to the ranch to learn about Agritourism.

The second week of June will be our first ever Cow~Girl Retreat. We are so excited to have ladies come work cows and ride horses with us! If you are interested in this Retreat and future offerings, please message Tana.

Plan to come see us this year. We offer a stay in our remote ranch house at a discounted rate to those who buy a horse from us!
Wishing you a summer of sunshine & joy,
Tana & Crew
