Swifty is a neat little mare who Tienna started riding fall of 2022 after she had a couple of foals for us. Swifty was very easy to start and super willing, especially considering it was a little later in life than usual to start under saddle. She has to be one of the most talented and gritty horses around – such a fun size and she can easily go all day and still give you more. She has probably seen more rough country in her short amount of training than most people see in their lifetime. From the eastern Montana badlands to the Superstition Wilderness in Arizona and more, she is super capable and handy. Swifty is extremely fast and catty quick – I’m pretty sure she was born to be a barrel horse! So natural on the pattern! She is currently in training in Arizona with plans to compete in barrel racing fall 2024. I will not be breeding her again for the foreseeable future as I want to build her resume riding and competing.
