2021 Blue Gray Quarter Horse stallion
May 1, 2021
I chuckle at these horses. Since the mare isn’t as heavy a milker as most in our herd, her foals tend to be sleepers. People who buy them come back marveling at the ease of starting them and what amazing horses they are. We can’t say enough about this cross. They are all gorgeous, smart, willing, stylish, intensely cowy, ultra talented, and kind. Understandably, they are extremely popular. They also always turn gray. A 2013 full sister (Cricket) went through the 4-H colt to maturity project and won overall three years in a row and is one of our primary ranch using horses. Cricket will go anywhere and do anything asked without any hesitation. She is all heart. Every time out she impresses us more. [News flash: We are expecting a foal out of her in 2022! ] This cute colt is definitely one to be proud of! He is super classy!
