Fun and unique opportunity for youth ages 8-13 years.

The goal of this camp is to give kids the opportunity to experience agriculture in a positive way. Hands on learning will impact them positively for life. Youth will interact with people who make a living in agriculture and be able to ask all the questions they can think of! Youth will develop a relationship with their rancher and learn about agriculture as a career. Activities will include farm chores, horseback riding, hayride, camping out, and learning about plants & animals.
$375 for the 2 days. Discounts for more than 1 child/family. Parent participation option also available. Contact Tana for additional information or questions.
Tentative schedule includes:
- interacting and chore activities with farm animals (milk cows, beef cattle, chickens, dogs, cats, goats, etc.) Learn about what each of these animals contributes to a ranch and to people who live in town.
- learning horse saddling & riding horses
- Learn how to rope
- Hay ride
- See horse herd with foals
- camp out overnight
- identify plants, berries, rocks, antler sheds
- games, take-home craft, obstacle course
