Another special mare. Lass is one of two full sisters that grace our herd. We must really like them, to keep browns.
Both Lass and Darling are producers of foals with super dispositions. Extra speed comes from the Dandy Derby line. Lass had a horrible cut to her hind leg when she was a yearling. I brought her in from the pasture and went to scrubbing and doctoring. By the third day, I didn’t even bother haltering her. I just crawled under her to change her wraps. She was smart enough to know I was helping her and so kind as to make it easier for both of us. Lass stands 15.1 hands
