If you love a big hip, short back, solid bone, tons of cow, and a beautiful blue roan color, Spark is who you NEED! Pretty is as pretty does and this stallion is so pretty! Dolly head and the silver roan color top a pedigree and mind that are what people are looking for. Spark is a gorgeous silvery blue roan muscle man! He was smooth to ride….Drink your chardonnay as you ride – so smooth to ride you wouldn’t spill a drop!
While small in stature for his age (14.1), our horses continue to grow until they are at least five and they last into old age. I do however think he will be smaller than his full siblings at maturity. We had a severe drought in 2021 and all of the foals born that year are smaller than their full siblings born different years.
Spark was extremely talented under saddle and always wanting to please. SO GENTLE! Spark takes things in stride and nothing bothers him. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He was ridden & used on the ranch summer of 2024 until a fluke injury caused broken bones in his head. He sells breeding sound only at a reduced rate for this reason. He holds his head slightly cocked. He can race across the pasture and handle mares, it’s just riding is likely not safe after the injury.
Spark has full brothers standing at stud in other states (including Colonel Spark Olena standing at Bedonna’s Stallion Station) and full sisters in our program. He is the ideal outcross for the cutting industry with his talent, substance & bone, and breeding. He’s mature and fertile and a gentleman breeder. We are pleased to offer him at stud to the public as an affordable option for local mares. His first foals will be born in 2026. He is available for sale to the right home. We pasture bred a few of our mares to him for 2026 foals and he got the job done efficiently and came in the end of July in better condition than he went out! We can catch him in the pasture easily.
A super sweet stallion with the kindest personality. If you have never owned a stallion, Spark is the safest option you could ever find. He hand breeds and pasture breeds as a gentleman. He sells as breeding sound only.
