If you love a big hip, short back, solid bone, tons of cow, and a beautiful blue roan color, this colt is who you NEED! Pretty is as pretty does and this 3-year-old stallion is dang pretty! Dolly head and the silver roan color top a pedigree and mind that are what people are looking for. This colt is a gorgeous silvery blue roan muscle man! Drink your chardonnay as you ride – he’s so smooth to ride you won’t spill a drop!
While small in stature for his age (14.1), our horses continue to grow until they are at least five and they last into old age. I do however think he will be smaller than his full siblings at maturity. He is extremely talented and always wanting to please. SO GENTLE! Spark takes things in stride and nothing bothers him. Started under saddle in November 2023, Spark has been a great student; really easy to work with and just a fun, easy-going guy to be around! Spark spent the winter of 2023 in AZ under training with Tienna Canen. He’s nice & light, very catty quick, super smooth, and an eager learner. Been on the trails hauled to barrel races for exposure – he’s seen the sights!
Spark was sold as a long yearling, but fortunately we got him back and were able to provide the vet help he needed for an abscessed tooth. He still has a bump and small scar on his nose which may or may not go away, but we have all the records and images and will give a full disclosure on the issue.
A fluke injury in October, 2024 resulted in broken bones in Spark’s orbital, throat, & neck. We are really sad that he will likely not be ridable again. He will heal this winter and be offered at stud in the spring.
Spark has full brothers standing at stud in other states and a full sister in our mare band. He is the ideal outcross for the cutting industry with his talent, substance & bone, and breeding. He’s mature and fertile and a gentleman breeder. Serious inquires only. We will offer him to the public to select mares. Hauls great with other horses, loves his baths, and stands great for the farrier.
